Day 1: Moshi/Arusha to Machame Gate to Machame Camp

After breakfast, we will drive to the Machame Gate, where our trek begins. The trail winds through lush rainforests, alive with the sounds of exotic birdlife and monkeys. As we ascend, the temperature gradually drops, providing relief from the tropical heat. After approximately 6-7 hours of trekking, we will reach Machame Camp, nestled amidst the towering trees.

Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira 2 Camp

Today is the culmination of our journey as we make the predawn ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point on the African continent. The air is thin, and every step is a testament to your determination and endurance. As the sun rises over the horizon, casting a golden glow upon the glaciers, you will stand on the Roof of Africa, a conqueror of mountains. After savouring the moment, we will descend back to Barafu Camp for a well-deserved rest before continuing down to Mweka Camp.
